From the 16th to the 18th of March, the Women’s Handball Day was held in Aveiro.
Made up of 15 athletes, the female team of Academia Minhota won the four games it played, with the following results:
- AAUMinho 28 – 13 AAUBI
- AAUMinho 24 – 13 AAUE
- AAUAlg 11 – 26 AAUMinho
- AAUAv 11 – 21 AAUMinho
In turn, the men’s team also traveled to Aveiro for the 2nd Men’s Handball Concentrated Day, from March 17th to 18th.
The AAUMinho team, made up of 17 athletes, won the two games they played, with the following results:
- AAUBI 8 – 29 AAUMinho
- AAUMinho 18 – 17 AAUAv
With these results, both teams took first place in the respective league tables and, thus, are qualified for the Final Phases of the Competition.
