Last Saturday, January 29th, the CNU of Athletics Indoor Track took place at Altice Fórum Braga. AAUMinho was the entity responsible for organizing the event.
The competition had 331 athletes, but due to unforeseen situations of covid-19, the number of participants was lower. As representatives of AAUMinho, CNU had 21 student-athletes enrolled, but due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, not all athletes were able to attend.
Regarding the men’s modalities, AAUMinho had athletes registered in the áreas of Flats (60m, 400m, 800m and 3000m), Long Jump, Triple Jump and Shot Put. In turn, the women’s committee competed in Flats (60m, 400m, 800m and 3000m), Hurdles (60m), March (3000m), Long Jump, High Jump and Medley Relay.
AAUMinho wishes all the success to its athletes, who with great determination reach achievements in championships of high importance in the field of university sports.
