The Vote of Honour arose from the presentation of the project for the construction of the new headquarters at the celebrations for the 44th Anniversary of AAUMinho, by its president, Rui Oliveira, accompanied by the rector of the University of Minho, Prof. Dr. Rui Vieira de Castro. The current head office located at Rua Dom Pedro V in Braga will be replaced by a future building on the Gualtar campus of the University of Minho.
The Municipal Assembly of Braga salutes AAUMinho, its board, and the entire student community for the materialization of this decades-old demand, which will serve all students in a closer and daily way. Furthermore, the Assembly sends votes of success and commitment to AAUMinho and its newly elected board, in the person of its president Duarte Lopes, to the University of Minho, and all students, so that the objective is fulfilled.
AAUMinho would like to thank all the members of the General Assembly for recognizing its achievements and dedication and underlines that all efforts will be done to implement this project, which is fundamental to bring the structure closer to the students this institution represents.
